If we are to assume the president actually calls the shots and runs the country I'd much prefer a stupid person who may finally bring that system of empire down from the inside by accident. If Hillary is in the system will be amplified and all its negatives with it.

You'll have to forgive me as I haven't really followed this in great detail, and many of the emails that have come out via the hacks appear to simply be standard political chatter. I get that emailing from a private server is daft, but I don't really get the massive security risk the nation now faces as a result of it. What was in the emails that was so dangerous?

Like us here and your folks, they capture everything they can and store it. What price the email logs of the secretary of state of the USA? Think about it, Bruce! There are elaborate security protocols set up within the structure of the government that were completely bypassed for all of this. Any other federal employee guilty of the same would be subject to prosecution, dismissal, or court-martial, dependent on their position.

I'm almost inclined to think that all of the important stuff was conducted elsewhere.

In fairness to TheFinnWum, there is a statement mentioning not allowing interference in the elections of other countries.

That's the point, he's implying that Ecuador is suddenly coercing with the "establishment" to influence the election when the statement says & shows that they are doing the exact opposite. Its their foreign policy not to interfere, the same foreign policy that has defied the "establishment" for 4 years on a massive issue by granting him asylum in the first place.

Aye, possibly. I'm not trying to be obtuse, as I said, I haven't followed the email situation in great depth, but what I've seen pales next to what has come from the mouth of Trump in the past few months. My concerns about him are very similar to my concerns about Brexit, but he'd be an even larger domino to fall than Brexit was.

I'd say it's realistic. The world is a complex place, and too often it's overly simplified, and certainly in the sense that politicians say with great certainty that doing x will equal y. There's no such thing as probability in the lexicon of many politicians, at least not publicly. As a neutral in all of this i want trump to win.

Simply because the whole country has united against him pretty much, media are reporting against him (rightly or wrongly) and even the current president has been sticking the boot in (i wonder why? Not like he has any connection to Hilary....)

So yeah, would love trump to win because it would be a massive FU to america as a whole who have been so stuck in a one track mind over who will win and putting trump down yet it was them essentially that put Trump into the candidacy in the first place.

Your very first post on the matter claimed that his opposite opinion is being suppressed, you then used a statement which says they don't interfere in elections to try and show that.

Ecuador have done this independently as their statement shows so it does not fit in with your conspiracy narrative that you've displayed throughout this whole thread

I've no qualms with democracy. But it doesn't work in a capitalist system. Things are in a bad state domestically and foreign but unfortunately it's looking like things have to get worse to get a real change.

Accusations agaisnt him is essentially dirty tricks by the clinton campaign that is being painted up otherwise by the american media to make trump look worse than he probably is himself.

Thing is, a lot of all this is just fell of crap at the end of it. Like the 'i'll be dating you in 10 years' comment. So that rules out that he is a paedophile point blank, and is very aware of waiting for the consentual age. It is seedy sure, but is he the only person who talks like that in america?

at the end of the day trump is a sexist and probably horrible person deep down and he isn't exactly shying away from that. If the clinton camp wanted to crush Trump they could just focus on why he wouldn't make a good president and tell people that instead. not sure why they focus on the glaringly obvious?
