It's Saturday night, many of us like to partake in a light-to-heavy home drinking session sometimes, but what are your rituals? What is it you seem to do every time?

For me, weirdly, it's always without fail watching Hot Tub Time Machine and leaving my empty bottles on the kitchen side in shapes.

No rituals. I just drink until feel like stopping.

I’m teetotal on Tuesdays. Every other evening I’ll have two or three beers, beginning at 8pm, at a rate of no more than one drink per hour. Drinking is the only explicitly bad habit I still maintain and I’m loath to abandon it, but I impose these strictures on it as a nod toward damage mitigation.

(I also regularly indulge in edible forms of cannabis but I don’t consider that a bad habit because the psychedelic experience is this filthy world’s last best hope.)

Hot Tube Time Machine has begun. 7 out of 12 Sol down. Simmering nicely. Appalled at the lack of aggro on here on a bank holiday Saturday night.

My favorite thing is to go out to a local brewery alone and work while sipping on a few pints, usually between 3ish and 5 before the crowds show up. In the summer, I'll usually do the same, but in my back yard. I also might have a beer after my kiddo goes to sleep.

Depends on what I’m eating. Sunday evening now, I’ve made the family a nice roast lamb on a bed of new potatoes (it works if you do it right), cauliflower cheese etc, so a delicious bottle of red to help keep me motivated.
