Just a quick one for Irish toffees, I see they have brought forward the Liverpool- Dublin flight on a Saturday after a match to 7pm. It's cutting it fine isn't it, I always got back into the city and catch 400 bus,that was often a bit hair raising !.
Are fans making it on time to get to gate closure.

If in doubt, there are usually more day and night flights from Manchester Airport (albeit further to travel).

While not needing the service, I do not live too far away from the airport myself (five or ten-minute drive or so), and I think that is pushing it a lot, to the point of no.

It's typically a 25-45 minute drive on a good day, but with match traffic it's going to be potentially closer to an hour.

….seems a ludicrous thing to do, I’d imagine that flight is largely filled with folk coming back from footy.

That would be fine if you could arrange transport after the match. Good luck trying to get a cab.

I used to leg it from Goodison to Kirkdale, get the train into Central then grab a cab. Think it was 7.30 flights though but usually had time for a beer once there.

Book an Uber in advance for pick up from eg The Elm is a possibilty.Having said that............. if we are down by more than three at half time .......... you will be fine x

Could be a knock-on effect from something else. Something happening at another airport can have a knock-on effect for landing/take-off windows for flights all over the place.

I've booked a seat on the 11.35 flight also,20 quid so that's my back up plan.
Though that will mean arriving back home about 4am .
Will try the uber thing

Regardless of the score you'd have to leave the match a couple of minutes I think. Getting out a couple of minutes early could mean a huge difference
