He filled a hole at the back, it's not ideal to have the player who has been the most creative in the team for weeks now, taken out of the attack and played at full back. Dyche trusts him and knew he would be up to the task, we didn't half miss him up front though. I'll hold my hands up and admit that I thought he was a poor signing when we brought him in and I still have reservations about his one footedness and his lack of pace, but, he really puts a shift in and has an almost Sheedyesque wand of a left foot.
