McNeil was signed to be a 3rd piece to an attack, the support character who can pass to options #1 and #2 and then get in the space they leave behind.
What he ISNT good at is being the #1 piece in attack, which is what he was left with today, when you are paired with Rondon and Gray. He cannot do that and isnt good at it, just like Iwobi plays poorly when used in the wrong way in the wrong area.

He’s a waste admit it and stop doubting yourself

3 games must be a record for this level of wham chatting - whilst he's not been up to standard so far, there's no need to be so absolutist about a young lad who's finding his feet in a new environment. Instead of looking to be the first to get the knives out, perhaps look at other examples of players who react immeasurably better to positivity rather than being written off within the month.

He had one assist last year, I’m not sure what you expect to happen.

He’s a very very average player and should be nowhere near our starting lineup this season.
