It would play to our strengths. We've got 3 good centre halves. Mykolenko is an ok defender but offers little going forward. You could play Garner or Patterson as RWB.

Not sure if Charlie Adam has started his job yet but if he has then it indicates it’s more about who takes free kicks than who coaches free kicks. McNeil will start in this squad until we bring in better, I’m sure of that.

Absolutely shocking to not have more than 1 player unable to put a ball in the box from a corner.

The 2 Harrison done were appalling and Garners set pieces in the main have been embarrassing.

Absolutely shocking to not have more than 1 player unable to put a ball in the box from a corner.

What's really irritating is this is not a good Liverpool side by their standards. But we're so technically poor in every department that it's another missed opportunity. We'll have to swallow it for now, but we've got to be aiming to bring actual footballers to the nuevo estadio - fellas who are technically good and can play. Moyes will get away with those selections for now as people recognise the limited options. But not beyond the summer.

I like him mate. But he was ineffective last night stuck out wide. Only once he pinned Curtis Jones back and that was in a out the 7th minute when he drove into the box and went down.
