Clearing your nose of hard cakes of snot, or your ears of crusty wax.

Tough decision and a moral dilema but after much soul searching i've decided that picking your nose clear of green obstructions brings most satisfaction.

Interesting, very interesting. Now if you've ever gone deaf due to a build up of wax, you'll report a great satisfaction after having your ears syringed. I mean, it's heaven to hear sounds again. But in my experience there is nothing more satisfying than having a good old clear out of the nose (with a hankie of course).

That's for the birds, I'm a nose or ear man. Never the twain shall meet. But perhaps I'll build a giant bogey come wax ball and enter it in next years Turner competition. Hmmmmm.

I've only had my ears syringed once - by an Armenian doctor in Istanbul.

I'm pretty sure back in the Uk they give you some oil to drip in for a few days beforehand to soften things up. Not this guy - he was straight in there with a syringe the size of a coke bottle full of cold tap water blasting out something the size and shape of a blood coated peanut (minus the God t-shirt)
Some years later I was within 70m of a car bomb and had temporary earshock. I can report that it was considerably less painful - for me. Although obviously not the poor sods who were closer.

Wax and snot are not usually a problem. It's nostril and ear hairs that drive me nuts. The satisfaction after clearing the itching feckers out is quite sublime.
