Anyone think that the fee's and that are getting slightly horrendous?

Been using it reguarly for a year now, even had a shop selling clothes but stopped that now as it was becoming expensive.

It's a brilliant site and good to rack up a few odd quid from selling used stuff and when i sold clothes i made a decent profit on it but the fees are going over the top.

here in the US a lot of people use craigslist.com. its sort of an informal ebay, a lot like classified listings in a news paper, except that they're free. i sold my wii on it and made some profit.

i'm actually not sure if craigslist is international, but if it is i'd recommend that you check it out, a bit less structured than ebay, but hey, its free so who can complain.
 
I usually sell on amazon.com instead of ebay (not sure if the UK has that). The fees are insane (15%) but you usually get alot more for your stuff. A month ago I sold a video game stragety guide for $90 that I paid $20 for. Thank god there are other dorks like me out there.

Buyers market all over the world at the moment. If you have money, now is a good time to go spend it. You could get some killer deals if you are a hard arse. Read reports of car dealers selling up to 35% off list price just to get a sale. Ouch!

sellers market if you're in the US. i've been thinking about getting in to it, but have been too lazy to be honest. but i know since our currency is [Poor language removed] to guys, you can spend what we'd consider a lot, so really both parties are happy
 
I only use it to buy off ,but its prices seem higher and over the last month 5 items paid for have not arrived and this seems to be happening to others as well so I have stopped using it.I also have problems with paypal they have £158 in my account but wont let me either remove it or spend it because of a verification thing,it was flagged because I spent on 17 items in one day ,and no matter how much i email them they keep saying its being sorted this has been going on for two months.
 

The postage the sellers are charging is ridiculous.

I've bought plenty off ebay, but i'm sick of being quoted silly prices for the delivery.

Agreed. I usually charge £2.50 for say a t-shirt because it's £1.94 for postage, plus its around 30p for a letter of a good size.
