ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

What are the chances of Newcastle turning over these red bottlers on Sat? Sick of the coverage tbh, but it'll be worth it to see them crowned greatest choke-artists in world football.
That gets engraved into a club's DNA - if the red bedwetters had been in Leicester's position a few years back they would never have seen it through to win.
Come on you black and white, shirtless horse-punchers. If Rafael sinks their battleship I'm done.

I've worked with and been friends with many supporters of other clubs and have on the whole I've enjoyed talking all things football. Alas I had to make a conscious decision many years ago not to bother with the rs fans, they have lost the ability to engage in sensible discussion and I'm sure I'm not alone in putting them lot on ignore.
In hindsight this action has possibly contributed to the Cult FC phenomenon, like in all areas of life, politics, religion, sport etc healthy debate with people of different viewpoints is necessary to avoid one eyed fanaticism which is why in times of conflict the first casualty is the truth to be replaced by propaganda.
I've had to unfollow or mute certain people because of this. Like, I love Space but one of the band members says all the cliche kopite stuff, Everton fans are bitter, we live rent free in your head, yada yada, and it just gets tiresome, and he has this side project twitter that's not even about music, it's just him trolling City, United and Everton fans under a fake name. And he's old enough to be my dad, and I'm not exactly a child. I can't be arsed with it. It's pathetic. I do know some nice kopites though. But oh G-d the loud ones.

They had no problem with Carragher saying ‘Salah you little dancer’ but Lineker (an actual ex Barca player) cheers one of the best goals you’ll see in ages and they want an inquest into pundit impartiality. Unbelievable levels of hypocrisy.
They now want Aldo to front MOTD.

Things to take away from last night

1. Barca carved Liverpool open time and again. They were close to scoring 6 or 7, a lucky bounce or a pass half a yard wrong denied them, then Dembele missed a sitter

2. Liverpool were in the game for an hour - they could have scored a couple of goals. They looked a good side (which they are) BUT not Messi like. After their best three or four players they weren't close to Barca. Man for man only VvD, the keeper (fair's fair ter Stegen was excellent too) and Salah would be anywhere near the Barca first eleven. But the Guardian match markings told their own story.

3. You just knew Messi would score the free kick, and the 2nd goal was coming for ten minutes..

4. UEFA and the ref won't take anymore nonsense from the RS fans. They got away with it once (against City) - but, mark my words, if they repeat the bus attack, there WILL be a dodgy call, red card or whatever, that the ref will pull on them at Big Stand. They won't be welcomed back to Spain any time soon after Fountainscruff's afternoon of "entertainment"

5. 2-1 RS second leg. Barca will score first or second goal. Game over.
