ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

Some of you need to get a grip of yourselves, half the season in and people wanting us to lose games so “they don’t win the title”. The same people who claim they don’t care but spend most of their time in this thread talking about and worrying about Liverpool. Embarrassing.

I'd willingly be prepared to lose a few games if it meant 'they don't win the title' ....:coffee:

I mean...where do you expect us to finish or be about this season eh???

Twitter is fun. They're all gloating about ~boiling people's piss~. You're our rivals. Of course we don't like you. The only other group of fans I remember being this obnoxious when they were top were Man United fans.

Also, do blues REALLY call kopites 'bin dippers'? I thought only Mancs and southerners did that.

Normally just the Mancs mate, think it was the Man U fans who started it.

The ones who accuse blues of do8ng that don't realise it's anti Scouse. They see the mancs doing it so think it's anti LFC as is their clueless wont.

Armed with that misinformation they just waddle around accusing blues of doing it without realising how thick it makes them sound.

The upcoming Christmas period will be the big test for their title challenge, Mourinho will do his usual trick of frustrating the life out of them at the Pit next Sunday regardless of how City do against us the previous day then you look at both teams Christmas games. The RS have Wolves away 5 days after United, the Horsepunchers at the Pit on Boxing Day, a bang in form Arsenal there 3 days later and then the game at the Etihad on Jan 3rd, City warm up for that after us with Palace at home and trips to Leicester and Southampton. You would fancy City to bag 10 points minimum from the four games but the RS would have to perform to an incredibly high level to match it and I don't see them having the squad depth to do so in such a short space of time

I have already resigned myself to the fact that they're going to win the title this season. It's easier this way. I'm defo going abroad in May, though. They will be unbearable, with their "over a million people saw the trophy come home lad" nonsense.

With the amount of money they spend I suppose it was only a matter of time before they eventually finished top. Who cares?

The fact that this whole sequence of events has unraveled off the back of a 96th minute goalkeeping error in the derby just makes it even worse..

I know its still only December but the stars just seem to be aligning already. The fact that they are now the only team in the league unbeaten after 16 games defies all logic.

I'm looking at it as a blessing in disguise. Their hopes now will be in the stratosphere, it'll be funny watching them sky dive back down to earth.
Not a chance they will win this. I'd be more concerned about next season, but lots can change before then.
I just hope their disappointment does not explode into violence, it will simmer as things go wrong.

Let's have Mourinho sprint into the centre circle after a last minute winner next week. I'm sure their fans will just applaud his passion.

Nice to have you back mush
