ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

I have already resigned myself to the fact that they're going to win the title this season. It's easier this way. I'm defo going abroad in May, though. They will be unbearable, with their "over a million people saw the trophy come home lad" nonsense.

With the amount of money they spend I suppose it was only a matter of time before they eventually finished top. Who cares?

Have you actually read your own post?

15 games into a season and some are wetting the bed already over them, for the city game, hope we smash them, anyone less than half a season in wanting us to Lose - is simply not a blue, then again reading who posted that first here, yeah think we all know he isn't.

People have to think what a result like that would mean for us. It would put a motor in our improvement.

The upcoming Christmas period will be the big test for their title challenge, Mourinho will do his usual trick of frustrating the life out of them at the Pit next Sunday regardless of how City do against us the previous day then you look at both teams Christmas games. The RS have Wolves away 5 days after United, the Horsepunchers at the Pit on Boxing Day, a bang in form Arsenal there 3 days later and then the game at the Etihad on Jan 3rd, City warm up for that after us with Palace at home and trips to Leicester and Southampton. You would fancy City to bag 10 points minimum from the four games but the RS would have to perform to an incredibly high level to match it and I don't see them having the squad depth to do so in such a short space of time
There’s a couple of matches they face there were the teams won’t bend over for them, The officials on the other hand always do.

It was an excellent result for them against Bournemouth, though fully expected once Wilson was injured.

I actually yesterday was not quite as good a day as they will make out though. That City result just brings Chelsea back into the title challenge for me. That will massively invigorate them and give them enormous confidence going forward. Arsenal remain on a fantastic unbeaten run (longer than Liverpool's) and look to have found a way to win ugly. I also think they get stronger in the 2nd half of the season. Spurs also seem to be kicking into gear somewhat, Son is finding some form and they won at a very difficult place to go yesterday.

Liverpool are bang in a title challenge but it's a 5 way challenge now. I expect City will react well to that defeat and re-double their efforts as a result. 2nd half of the season, with a fresh De Bruyne and also a rested Aguero coming back they have shown they can sustain this pace and also increase on it.

Let them enjoy their champions in December moment. This isn't the first time it's happened. There is an awfully long way to go but they will need to get a win against United and also a win against Wolves who've proven awkward for the top team.

My intuition remains the same with them, Klopp as he always does gambles his chips early. To be fair he has a small lead over City and a reasonable one over 4 more teams. We have seen one dip in autumn and I suspect you may see another through winter. To be fair to them they creaked but didn't crack last time for which they deserve credit. They also deserve credit to have comfortably won 3 of the 4 games after PSG.

To me there are 5 teams playing well enough to win the league this season. The gap they have, in such an open season can change very quickly. They blew a 7 point lead in April. a 1 point lead in December is nothing.

Hope the RS beat United and we beat City.

We need points on the board and to try and get closer to the top 4 whilst grabbing 6th place.

They always come short anyway.

True that.. Klopp’s teams always choke at the death.. this season will be no different

We need united to drop points
Remember, we are three points behind but have a game in hand so there is some leeway. If it weren't that lot, then I'd unquestionably be calling them to lose.

Possibly a draw would be a perfect result as if we were to win both games, then we would leap ahead of them; it would also let City to reclaim the top spot.

Ami i slow or has there been this Salah and Klopp Mosaics in town for a while??? what on earth, how have these not been painted over in blue yet

I was speechless when i walked past the Salah one, how on earth have we let this happen, its like we don't exist?

The Klopp one has only recently been done. Never seen the Salah one where is it?

Its definitely the Kopites feeling tetchy after our recent Liver Building antics.

Make no mistake they are nervous over BMD and are desperate in trying to "reclaim the city" I would love us to graffiti over the jargness, no way would a mural of Pep or Jose be left alone in Manchester and neither should we allow it!
