ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

that just shows you all you need to know about them. Racism, yeah thats fine (as long as you are a good player), talk ng to someone form another company after work... should be sacked!!!

It was the same with Suarez. They were adamant he was innocent even when he admitted using racist language.

His once a season chomps on opposition player's where only 'nibbles' and the victim made a meal of their reaction.

Then he celebrates scoring a goal past them and he's the biggest scumbag ever.

Despite how the media portrays them EVERYONE knows the truth about that club.

they are also young lads, miles from home in what is, lets face it, a strange job where they work half a day a few days a week and earn massive amounts of cash, and whenever they go out socialising, they get grief/adulation in equal measures. They have more in common with each other than they do with us, with mundane jobs and kite flying Jeffs from West Derby.
On one hand, 2 Brazilian international footballers plying their livelihoods away from home almost next door to each other are quite likely to be friendly with each other as they are more often team mates than opposition to each other, so why would they not be friends or friendly? Liking a goal against your team is a bit daft mind you.

I was not aggrieved when our Brazilians were chatting away to Ederson on Wednesday or that Delph was chatting away to his former team mates. That's just the way it is.

Mind you, when we lost to City, we at least knew we were outclassed by a superior team having had to perform at their best to overcome a decent performance by our lads so no shame in that.

perhaps the slow realisation from their customers that they were also beaten by a superior team has dawned on them and they are lashing out

You're spot on Yarrgh; lets be clear, privately im sure these lads get on very well. In non covid times, there seems to be a cohort of Brazilan's led by the wives probably getting together, for kids parties etc. Im sure this crosses beyond teams & their relationships in private is good.

My only point, as with the bernardo silva instagram post, just do it in private.

That's probably very true.

It reminded me of so many derbies in the last 20 years were one team huffed and puffed and felt aggrieved as they couldn't get past their opponent as they just had the edge on quality in too many positions. Just this time it was the right way around!

Yep. It's a non-issue that'll be forgotten about when he scores a winner against Sheffield United. Or it'll blow out of proportion when he gifts possession to the other team and it leads to a goal.

Anyway, makes a nice change to see them crawling through the social media of one of their own for a change!

My tip to Firminho is to confess that a Chelsea fan hacked his account.

York away was easy! :D
A saturday game and an easy run up the M62 and the A1.
Wycombe away was the ultimate low point for me. I think it
was a Tuesday or Wednesday night. The rain was absolutely hissing it down.
An 8 hour round trip. We got beat 1-0. I was very close to seeking
counselling after that one!
With us finally beating the RS and hopefully now competing at the top end of the table, just wondering if City had a similar record against United before u became the best team in Europe
