ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Off the top of my head
Ferguson
Mourinho
Wenger

Miles ahead of everybody. Can't think of any more outstanding ones. Klopp has done well considering where they were when he came in, and the City teams while he's been there. I'd rank him as a very good manager but his lack of trophies puts him in the 2nd tier behind those 3.
Pep obviously.

I don’t doubt it that them and city have been bending the rules. the points swings they have is obvious and it isn’t right and city just have a better quality squad so don’t have the same wild point swing. That said why would they cycle off now it’s the home run most important part of the season.
Maybe Euros is a factor

Pep? Mancini? Carlo?

You could argue for Dalglish and Ranieri in there as well.

1 Covid premier league title and a champions league where their run looks more like a europa league run of fixtures isn’t impressive.

Never won a final in normal time and relied on dodgy ref decisions (lukaku offside) and shootouts to keep the trophies rolling in.

Add in the obvious spectacular amount of doping that clearly goes on and I honestly think he is the most overrated manager in a long time and if his current record was with city or Chelsea or United he would get nowhere near the kudos he does.

lol lol lol lol

Howard Kendall, took over a much worse team and spent even in them days buttons compared to Klopp. Won the league twice, runner up twice Fa Cup, beaten finalist twice, won our only European trophy and cruelly robbed of not winning more, with that team I'm almost certain that we would have. Better than Klopp and he did do it a different way.

Boss this, it was only a few weeks ago they were reporting how Liverpool were 'playing for Klopp's exit' and wanted to make sure he left on a high.

Edit - like this.

Come on, anyone saying he's not a world class manager surely dont believe that. Yes he's not won much here, but thats purely down to City and Pep. If it wasnt for Pep, Klopp would have cleaned up domestically.

Its hilarious but he is a top manager and im delighted he's gone as I think we may see them fall the way of Utd and Arsenal post Fergie and Wenger.

World class managers don’t get 69 points in a season with the same group of players who got 99 the season before. He’s a world class doper that’s for sure but when they’re cycling off every man and his dog wins against him.

Standard cult behaviour. Don't admit you are wrong just change the narrative to sound like you were always right and the previous opinion (stated as fact) never existed.
