Being objective, they do have some good defenders and to say otherwise would be idiocy, but I do see them conceding more goals this season under Slot.

He is bringing a brand of football that requires defenders and the GK to retain the ball more and play out, which will invite errors from teams who press.

From what I've seen, Konate isn't going to be comfortable with the ball at his feet regularly, and how Alisson adapts to it will be interesting.

Liverpool conceded more goals last under Klopp then in previous years. It was their downfall really. They are playing with more composure, which will make it more difficult for opposition to exploit.

For £10 million it's a gamble well worth taking. At his best he was absolutely outstanding. Even last season, recovering from a serious ACL , he was still half decent .

Hope he bombs but suspect that it's a very good signing.

For the money (10m someone has just mentioned) it's a no brainer.

Pre injury he was quality, will be interesting to see if he can cope with the rigours of the PL

That injury really ruined him, he was flying 3 years ago, brilliant at that Euro.
Apparently he lost a lot of speed and explosiveness after that, there is a reason why he gone from biggest Italian talent/hope in years to Juve getting rid of him for mere 12 million.

At 10m it's worth the risk definitely but I also suspect there's a reason he's only going for that amount. Not going to judge though, they picked Coutinho up for buttons and sold him for over 100m

No brainer for chiesa at that money and the Georgian keeper they will get next season is a good signing too.

They will be there or there abouts, even with slot, with the remnants of the pedz working their way through.
