This has happened three times.

Once they were bitten, why was it that not one of them laid their fists into his head? They're perfectly within their rights to do that considering they were being assaulted.

Genuine question here, not condoning any violence. Just would be my natural response if somebody bit me...

The thing is he's not arsed one bit

He thinks he's done nothing wrong just like the Evra stuff

From the FA report, 'it seemed to us that Mr Suarez has not fully appreciated the gravity
and seriousness of this truly exceptional incident'.

this. FIFA are money grabbing gits, they'll take him for as much money as they can. maybe a couple of game ban from uruguay in some friendlies or something.
No chance....

This has happened at the world cup. This is FIFA's tournament that comes around every 4 years. Uruguay are scheduled to play Saturday in the next round. I wouldn't be surprised to see a decision around Thursday that see's Suarez suspended for the rest of the tournament with a later decision on further punishment.

"Never retaliate" mate

It's beaten into pro's during their formative years

I wonder how this us playing out back in Montevideo?

They had a great chance of going far in this competition and this whopper goes and gets himself, in all likelihood, banned from the rest of the tourney.

I remember the stick Beckham got after he was sent off in France '98 and that wax a totally innocuous incident.

Surely the Uruguayan public will be outraged at this unnecessary blow to their hopes.

Yep.

FIFA are cowards, but there is no way they'll suffer the fire of letting him off when the whole world saw it. Again. The media in the US is all over it. I'm sure the same is true in most of Europe.

He'll be banned.
