Personally I find it a bit weird when posters come on here and defend the Italian harming racist piss throwing wools and claim to be blues.

There's nothing like being subtle plums.

Our fans look like divs because they mock kopites. Just stop it blues.

This was before the semi final v Villa which denied The Gerrard Final". Bet you were gutted.

Oh you have a wife and two kids. Wow. They breed.

Well fancy that. Maybe you felt spurned when he turned down the LFC job. Maybe he considered himself too brown to bond with the fan base?

No, nor does it change the fact that they murdered 39 innocent fans and tried to blame Chelsea. Since we're dealing in facts.

Oh you're crowing alright. Just over a different team.

Not if he was a fodless shithouse like Gerrard.

Hurrah!

Wait there? Didn't you...ah forget it.

Maybe you're divorced. And who could blame her.

Or maybe you're a lying kopite toerag caught out online.

What like banning all over clubs from European completion? I must have missed Everton doing that.

Regarding the Everton thing mate: you're doing it wrong.

Now haven't you got a banner to make?

Tit.

I really hope City sit tight and don't pay the asking fee. The negative influence Sterling will be is going to wreck their season.

Sterling is an overated tit. His goal scoring record for equivalent ages is Cadamateriesque as is his playing style. The rats seem to think if they keep passively aggressively telling everyone he's the "new Rooney" or "not another Sinclair" and a "world class footballer" enough people will listen to them.

What's clear though is that Rodgers is not only a terrible manager, a complete beaut but also he is completely cringey in how he tries to massage and manage situations. When Sterling says he pretends to be his mate for the camera's I can completely buy that. They will go nowhere with him in charge.

Sorry but what you've posted is literally the perfect example of what I'm talking about.

Trying to make out all the ones on the internet are Cringeworthy bells when your entire experience of Liverpool fans online mostly comes from one forum.

It's textbook response assuming a vocal minority in one specific place = the majority

I get your point. Of course they are not all murderers, that is a preposterous statement. I've met many Liverpool fans who are sound and interesting to discuss football with (mainly the minority who are actually from the City).

I think what people are getting at though, is there is an arrogance to them as a collective which is ugly. It's like a group of mouthy students/young lads on a night out. Individually a lot of them will be sound decent lads, the sort you could work alongside, play football with etc. However put them in that group setting and they turn into a nightmare.

It's a similar process. You could say it's true about every set of fans. I think what makes Liverpool unique though is the contradiction of having great success 40 years ago and then not winning the league for 25 years. That contradiction does terrible things to people. It means they have these lofty aspirations and entitlement that they are the best, but cold hard reality tells them that they are now a run of the mill average team who are outside of the top 5 of this country.

That contradictory dialectic leads them to search for excuses for why it's happened, find blame and behaviour in a general cringey way declaring people better than what they are while blaming; refs, the media, Manchester United, the FA, FIFA, England, Hodgson or journalists for causing their own decline. There is enormous insecurity in them. Deep down they know they are a nothing club now, like 95% of the football pyramid. That makes them want to tell people even more how brilliant they are to try and cover the reality of their insecurities.

Liverpool FC is a space that allows them to engage in this mass delusion. It now actively fosters that spirit, with a Brent like salesman in charge carefully massaging their fragile ego's. The club not only tolerates such knobendery but actively encourages it. It is the amusing but toxic mix of arrogance, stupidity and ineptitude that leads to the bitterness and the seething anger that exists within them.

As I have said throughout, sit back and enjoy this season and watch them struggle again. It is going to be an enjoyable watch, seeing people have breakdowns on the basis that their team is not as good as they think they deserve to be. It keeps the world ticking over for me.

Seems that Carra has made a last gasp attempt to blacken Sterling's name before he goes.

From BBC:

'Ex-Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher says Raheem Sterling's reputation is being affected after he asked to be left out of the club's pre-season tour. The forward, 20, does not want to go on the forthcoming trip to the Far East after Liverpool rejected a £40m bid from Manchester City for him. The England international missed training on Wednesday through illness.

"He's starting to get a reputation that could be hard to rid himself of in the future," said Carragher.

"Are Man City fans looking at the situation and thinking this could be us in a few years?"

Through his request, Sterling - who returned to pre-season training on Monday - has once again made it clear to manager Brendan Rodgers that he wants to leave. He has expressed his desire not to go on the tour in the hope of making a smoother exit from Anfield after an increasingly acrimonious saga in which he has turned down a contract offer of about £100,000 a week.

Manchester City have had two offers for him turned down, but are now expected to return with a third bid nearer Liverpool's £50m valuation.
Whether it comes soon enough to avoid the latest twist in what has become a very public breakdown in the relationship between club and player remains to be seen.

"I think this situation will only make Liverpool more determined to get the fee they feel Raheem is worth, rather than caving in to Raheem's and Man City's wishes," added Carragher.'

What a tit.

So let me get this straight, since Raheem told the club he wasnt signing a new deal, he went from werldd kkklass to behind werldd kkklass Ibe, yet carra and many others still claim he shouldnt go for less than £50m.

It shows to me that they are probably gutted he wants out, if you value him at £50m then you must still think highly of him deep down, regardless of how much they spout their mouths off to the media. If he is as poor as they say they should bite citys hands off for £20m.

Utter utter deluded bells the lot of them, sorry @longers but they are ALL bells, bigger than any bell on any church, on any continent.

Going for a lie down.

I hope City get it done because it worries me that Walcott has still not signed a new deal,he has only one year left, AW likes Sterling and Walcott has professed to supporting the rs as a kid(Didn't they all).

Any deal that involves giving them Walcott and money would really Christian Fuchs me off. He's worth 25m at best because his end product is inferior to Walcott. We'd be getting screwed short term and long term, him and Wilshere in the same team is a recipe for disaster....Hippy crack parties anyone.

Thankfully City are desperate for HG players,so they should cough up.

.

The 20-year-old missed Wednesday training after calling in sick, is not expected to be in on Thursday either, says he will NOT go on the club's looming pre-season tour with Rodgers and maintains he no longer want to play under the manager.

Mirror Sport can reveal angry fans turned up at Sterling’s HOUSE on Wednesday morning to threaten him.

He also woke up to find
more than 2,000 abusive texts and 1,200 WhatsApp messages on his phone after his number was posted online.

Winger Sterling has changed his number THREE times in the past year but each time it has got into the public domain, leaving him believing it gets leaked by a rogue employee at the club.

The Reds’ desperate bid to prevent him leaving for Manchester City has again exploded into open warfare.

Stay classy reds

How many new coaches does this fella need to knock them into shape...McAllister being the latest one to be courted. At least the recent innovation of ref's spray foam will stop him teaching the players how to blatantly gain yards on free kicks. Rodgers will need one of these for his little helpers before long......

rodgers coaches.webp

It's Ludicrous if City bid 50 million for Sterling now, they should let Liverpool sweat it out all summer then come in at the last minute bid of 20 million

I agree. I also agree that in the mass they are unpleasant. I'd say the same, though, for any crowd of people of a similar demographic. The mob rarely has anything worth saying and even less, worth hearing.
