So why does he always bench him unless they have an injury crisis?

@IanDoyleSport: BR: "Lucas is our best defensive midfield player we have. He came in and did a great job, and is very much part of what we want to do."
they've been trying to flog him all summer

I know, he's injury prone but performance wise he has been one of Liverpool's more reliable players under Rodgers.

But then it is the same manager who has just said this

@philmcnulty: Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers on Aaron Ramsey's disallowed goal: "I've seen a replay and his shirt was offside."

But then we are dealing with the same guy who has just said this

He's got form for this though

With Brendan Rodgers, there was a lot going on. What he was saying to me and what was actually happening [were different things], " Carroll says in the Times.

He was telling me one thing to my face, then I'd leave the training ground and he would ring me and tell me a completely different thing.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...st-Ham-strikers-return-to-face-Liverpool.html

He's such a strange person, who clearly has massive insecurity problems coupled with self delusion and possibly tourette's, he's a basket case and should be pitied.

When they turn on him and he gets the sack he's going to need a lot of therapy.

Stoke - 4th official too slow (?) plus Butland fannies around on the edge of his area. 2 points down to good luck (ok we have to live with that one I guess)

Bournemouth - dubious disallowed goal for Bmouth, offside winner for The RS - 3 points down to dubious officials
Arsenal - oppos onside goal given offside - 1 point down to dubious officials

The corrected League table

14 Liverpool 3 -1 3
