To be fair, they scraped a result against Stoke, the ref and the linesman gave them a result when the were well beaten by Bournemouth, they drew with a distinctly average Arsenal and got beaten up by West Ham.......they are crap and will now start moving down the league.........

My fav was Anders Lindegaard at 4m, decent player but he's made a grand total of 19 appearances in his 5 seasons at the club - we moan about Gibson being the invisible man on a free but he's made over double the appearances with 2 years less. Backup goalkeepers don't play that much but less than 4 apps a year given all the competitions they are in is ridiculous!

He couldn't even get a game after LVG alienated every other goalkeeper at the club. Michael Owen wasn't a hit by any standard, even on a free. De Gea was the only outstanding signing from that list, with a case to be made for Hernandez at 5 million.

Just wait til the Europa league kicks in. I can't wait. Benteke already looking a flop, take away that offside goal against Bournemouth, he's done nothing but miss a sitter at Arsenal. Won't be long til they're on his back
 
@bglendenning: So apparently, fabio borini, who has desperately tried to avoid joining sunderland for 3 windows, is joining sunderland. Yay!

@TonyBarretTimes: Sunderland look set to sign Fabio Borini after agreeing a fee (£8m plus £2m in add ons) for the forward.

10 mill for Borini? These greedy rich clubs can't have their own way. They sell of their absolute deadwood for big money then try and poach the best talent in Europe for a pittance. Borini is worth about 1.5 million. 10 mill is ridiculous. Panic buy from Subderland to appease the fans.
 
I can only really truly laugh at these clowns when we're ahead of them. The state of Spurs, Liverpool and even United this season mean we should be pushing for the European spaces. Again though we're behind both of them because they scrape wins when not playing well whereas we take draws from games we should win. I'll be disappointed if we don't finish ahead of Liverpool this season. We should have the more settled squad, familiar style, and better options off the bench. We also have Gareth Barry though so I guess it will be cancelled out.
 
They've accepted 10m from SAFC for Borini. Wasn't it 14m last year but borini didn't want to go ?
Well in Borini if so for costing them 4million!
