Have a good feeling for the next time we play them.

Gerrard was the only player in their team who understood the importance of the game. He always made sure that they performed. Out of the 38 games in the league, he could have 36 terrible ones but he'd always step up for the two against us.

Now who do they have to get them playing? Look at their starting eleven; not a single local lad in there. No real boyhood supporter.

I'm not saying we're going to win all the time but it's a fact that Gerrard always got himself and the ten others off their arses and out of the dirt when it came to playing us. They're going to miss that, big time.

Their eyes are beginning to open....

RAWK ..."I'm happy to say it but Rodgers isn't good enough to be our manager. 4 seasons and our defense is as bad as it ever has been, we create nothing, we aimlessly punt it forward.. He has no tactical ability to change a game, when was the last time we came back from being 1-0 down?

Has he got anyone left to throw under the bus before people question his managerial ability? Today was his team, it's exactly how he wants to set up, he's had carte blanche to buy the players he want - he doesn't know how to use Benteke, aimless punts with no-one around him running beyond the game line.

I'm glad we got rid of the problem of last season, Pascoe"

Joined-up-thinking ? Joined-up-speaking would be a good enough start never mind the garbled non sensical soundbites. He should be on The Apprentice.

“When you give away a goal so early it gave West Ham the boost and the lift that they needed,” said Rodgers, referring to Manuel Lanzini’s third-minute opener.
“They’ve shown in the two games they’ve played away from home that they can sit in and defend well in a low block, and that (the first goal) set us back a bit.” *
“The key was going to be getting the ball to the sides, to exploit the sides of the field, and the gaps in between,” he said.
“The gaps were there. Analysing the game and preparing for the game, we can see that, but of course taking it on to the field it’s much more difficult.
“I felt in the first half, especially on the sides, we never really dominated that area to combine and get in behind, and that led to us not creating so much.”

* Though they shipped 4 at home to Bournemouth

This is where Mr Clever, the man that 'invented' football, got his new 'technical genius' from.

The Committee sign AWONIYI, yet another striker.

'Liverpool have signed 18-year-old striker Taiwo Awoniyi, but have immediately sent him out on a season-long loan to Frankfurt.

Awoniyi has previously represented Imperial Soccer Academy in Nigeria and we understand the fee is around £400k'.

And immediately sends him out on loan before Rodgers destroys him as a player.

Here he is, second from left with other members of the Nigerian under 18s
