ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

I have to laugh at the way the beauts make out it's them against the world, every fan of all the other clubs are jealous of their history etc, supposedly all the media hate them and can't wait for them to lose, the FA and all the referee's have an agenda against them, and are out to try and stop them getting back where they belong.

Great innit, enjoy.

It was only a few weeks ago they were slagging Lucas off and that he needed to be moved out at the end of the season, same with Henderson.
Its vintage RS behaviour. That Sakho was supposed to be their new "cult" figure some weeks ago...then they change one letter of his status when he has another mediocre game...its like a coconut shy there. But it doesnt matter to them because they dont do or get irony...that requires thought and intellectual balance. Their hardknock snarler of a skipper ?...wouldnt take a pen yesterday but is in the paper this morning saying how proud he is of his players...another irony by-pass. Sturridge..the star striker still on the pitch aet...but wouldnt take a pen because of cramp hed had even during from the 90 mins. There are examples everyday...yet they dont see them because theyre fundamentally thick.

They are fumin..........

From just one poster on rawk-
For years Everton have banged on about the fans they have only coming from Local areas - which may ring true - but also commercially means you can't improve much

Your attendances have steadily declined over the past decade.

Your Season Tickets/Tickets are given away.

You still can't fill your stadium despite the above.

---

This Usmanov is in London, a major European City. A club which commercially could be taken through the roof. The possibility of what Arsenal could achieve is probably double that of Manchester United - that is potentially huge.

Why would he want to suddenly jump ship to Everton? I mean Catch22 give me 5 good reasons he would actually come and invest in you instead?

How does one improve a club that -

Is in one of the poorest area's of Britain
Has a tiny following
Has been only able to attract sponsors such as Chang and those other dodgy people you had recently.

And to improve Everton he probably has to spend upwards of £500 million.

How does he get any of his investment back? When commercially your club just isn't a good asset to have.

This guy that's taken 49% will make some money with the new TV deal, he might even pump in a little money and get you a little better of. But you aren't suddenly going to be City, Chelsea, etc - As it makes no financial sense what so ever.

It doesn't even make business sense, as you aren't a big name, that is going to suddenly improve these guys portfolio.

Just be glad your not going under anymore. Be glad you have someone a bit more stable than Kenright, but don't get ahead of yourselves. There's still only one big club in Merseyside.

Hahahaha. If anyone wanted another cameo/microcosm of a thick deluded RS its that. Apart from the fact that its not even "Usmanov", the bizarre question..."why would he jump ship to Everton" - as if Farhad Moshiri's investment hadn't happened or was a figment of someones imagination is typical RS denial. "Give me 5 good reasons he would actually come and invest in you ....?" Well I'll economise and give you just one instead. Because he HAS.

Our fan base doesn't have the maturity to handle this.

There's going to be a proliferation of revolutionary anthem ring tones around Liverpool. :D
