ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

I do occasionally take a peak at RAWK to have a laugh at what they are saying about us. The one about always being in their shadow makes me laugh considering their relationship with Manchester United.

Anyway if we do secure the docks stadium it could be a long term game changer if the development of the surrounding area results in an expansion of the city centre. I think they have screwed themselves by being short sighted and not building a new stadium. The redevelopment work they have completed is akin to putting lipstick on a pig. The main stand is impressive but can't see how they are going to be able develop the other 3 stands to the same spec on that footprint.

Bricks through windows and intimidation no doubt

Its always good to start a Monday morning with a laugh. The oracle has spoken - "slipping" into selective memory mode in vintage RS style......

Henderson: I’ll never forget the way time-wasting Chelsea cost us title

“I will never forget the way they played the game,” the Liverpool captain said. “It was very slow, they sat in. It was difficult to watch. Throw-ins, goal kicks, they were taking forever and that got everyone worked up in the stadium and it worked to their advantage because they got the result they came for — one that had a big impact on us not winning the league.

RS fans said there were lots of 'Cockney accents' amongst the crowd, and from that they said it was Chelsea fans, not that it was most probably Cockney reds.

But as we know, they always like to blame someone else.

Liverpool fans love to talk about being one of the most followed clubs in the world when it suits them, cockney accents heard at Heysel was Chelsea fans yet when they talk about numbers, some of which are cockney fans then its all good. They need to realise that a lot of the 'followers' that follow the 'red monday' are mostly neutrals with a hatred of either 'dem mancs' or the 'red shi.. red shi... red crap' (damn mods).

I think if LFC fans were more humble then I wouldn't have a gripe with them, even in work we have some decent down to earth reds who I can talk football with all day, then one stuck up arsehole red pops up and turns it into the 'pavement slabs vs the bitters' debate.
Shame really because its the venomous red that seems to shout loudest over the decent lads.

What the tick c@nt doesn't get is that all the needed to do was draw that game to win the title. If Chelsea played slow they should have played slow and seen out a 0-0. This salient re-writing of history will be forgotten by kopites in years to come though as their distorted reality will kick in. The same sort of distorted reality that has Klopps 5 trophies as more successful than Koemans 8.
