ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

they're getting lots of plaudits, but comparing the only teams both of us have played, we've both beaten WBA 2-1, both drawn 1-1 with spurs and both lost to that tosh burnley game, where at least we were actually close to taking a point.

perspective, like.

My favourites for the league mate, if they get close like they did under BR then I think Klopp will give them the self confidence to finish the job.
I said at the beginning Guardiola is a fraud who will find it tough getting his own way, this league has spurs, arsenal, united, Chelsea and Liverpool to compete with, before we even look at the tough games of Everton, Stoke and such.
Mourinho has spent £89m on Pogba when he would of been better trying to get Romelu and Coleman for example.
Wenger's Arsenal will flop around game 30-32. So near yet so far.
Chelsea will need to get used to adapting to Conte's preferred 3-5-2 formation.
Spurs for me are good but maybe a back up striker short - see Romelu to Kone as example.

All in all I fancy Liverpool to do it, they are getting closer to having the squad needed, to be fair to arl yellow knashers he has shipped out some tripe and brought a closer group together with a little bit of quality. They only need a solid left back, top goalkeeper and a top centre mid.

And a goalscorer. Apart from that they've got a great chance.

well they were singing Hodgson for England like, giving him the treatment while he was still there

To be fair, Hodgson was the only one who didn't win a trophy though. If you count Rodgers 'runners up' trophy that is!
We get murals on the main stand for a fraud after finishing 5th. Imagine what we'd do if we actually started winning something. Joe Royle is feted for winning the Cup, we do the same to our Managers when we win something.

To be fair Joe Royle is a bad example as he is feted for being one of us, who is one of our all time top goal scorers and he also saved us from the pits of hell and then he also won the cup in a season when we had no right to win or even stay up.

You are right about the Mural though, but as has been said I also did not know of any Blue who thought that was a good idea. That was the clubs decision not ours, their fans are making all these memes and pictures stating that Klopp is the messiah (or before that Rodgers when everybody knew that he just stood there while Suarez played some world class football).

If we won the FA cup, obviously Koeman would be treated as the man who did it and we would celebrate his name for that. Would we make a massive banner with something like 'Boss' or anything similarly cringeworthy, more than likely not, would we walk around the streets chanting his name and holding a giant picture of him as if he was a religious figurehead, I would say definitely not.

There is a massive difference to celebrating a cup win to what they do on a constant basis.
