That was Andy Jacobs.

They were talking today about when Carlos Alberto came over to re-enact his famous goal from the 1970 World Cup Final.

I got in from work 15 mins before there show ended today, I think I'll have listen to that on catch up. Can imagine they made it sound fantastic, they certainly make Jim "[Poor language removed] you massive bore" White, Colin "tosspot" Murray "Durham and Goughy" sound ordinary. It's like listening to white noise, in comparison.

I do like the 2 mikes though so you can shoot me now, soz

We all know how it pans out now.

The RS get Newcastle at home in the quarter final.

In the weeks leading up to the game, we will have the mutual 'love in' between the fat Spanish waiter, and those 'lovable beauts' on the Kop.

Rafael will prepare his players for the game by telling them that the RS 'are the best team in the world', so psychologically they will be f*****.

Newcastle will do the honorable and decent thing, and lie down and die.

The RS will thrash them 5-0, and the crowd will 'sportingly' applaud the bar-codes from the pitch.

Since being re-admitted into European competition (25 years ago) - 2nd legs at Home or Away (not including any Group stage matches - final games of group stages 6 home, 6 away).

Home 47 Away 19 (71%)

Just a coincidence I guess

1964-1985 36-30

Total 83-49 (63%)

FA Cup in same time frame: 71-84
League Cup in same time frame: 80-78

(excluding neutral semis/finals)

Unbelievable.

Where did you find these figures mate?
