Far too good for them. This is more like it..............................

I guess its a toss up between a 'real' woman with 3 heads or a shapely plastic number.....

Today's Echo has that 'lovable' John Aldridge, describing Leicester F.C., as 'a rabble'.

Classy and respectful as always.

The 'tinker man' should pin this up before the RS game to inspire the Fox's to turn them over.

Absolutely disgraceful. Local Residents use that field every day and it would also mean the displacement of a vital road.

The Council will of course let this go through but we will put up a fight.

Farmers used to tend those fields in the Middle Ages, I remember those days, we should be bringing back that sort of business.

Funny the abuse we got for considering a move to Kirkby,
Yet as soon as they decide do its all 'if it's good for the club' etc from their fans.....utter mutants

I see the RS are intending buying up the adjacent 14 acres of Simonswood Playing Fields according to Pearce in The Echo. I wonder if KRAG ....Kirkby Residents Action Group aka Kopites Residents Action group will be kicking off....it taking away kids recreational space ???

They will purchase 14 acres of land at Simonswood Playing Fields at the rear of the Academy in order to expand the size of the current site to around 60 acres.
The plans have been drawn up by London-based architects KSS, who designed Anfield’s new Main Stand.
The existing Academy buildings at Kirkby are set to remain and be refurbished with the first-team training centre built nearby.
The facilities will include a new covered artificial pitch, a pool and hydrotherapy complex, gymnasium and specialist sports rehabilitation suites.
Could there be any issues?
It depends what kind of reaction the scheme gets from Kirkby residents. With Liverpool buying up green space it could in theory go to a public inquiry if there was major opposition but that's unlikely to happen. Liverpool are taking steps to liaise with residents and address any concerns prior to the planning application being submitted.

Like Liverpool did with Anfield's Main Stand, they will invite people down to view the plans at a public consultation and explain exactly what they intend to do.

A key part of the project will involve Liverpool upgrading the remaining community football pitches at Simonswood Lane and building new changing facilities and a car park.

So they want to sell Mellwood for housing.. Can you imagine that .. GERRRRRARRRRRRRD Drive.. (Dive)?, The Shanks, McDermott Pished as a Newt Lane, Gobshight Grove, Rafael Road..

With the interiors tastefully done by Mrs Henry of course.
