This is clearly a Chicoist policy and while I'm generally in favor of these, I'm also generally a tit and make enough simple grammatical mistakes that I'd like to have editing privileges back.

No. Until you broke everything by removing rep you could edit any post you had made at any time. But you broke it.

It didn't used to be time-limited.

Any news on being able to edit your own posts?

Seems a bit mad you cant especially if you wanted to clarify the post without doubling posting, which is the greater evil i would have thought

The edit button works and is as above.

There's always been a time limit on which to edit your posts. Normal on most forms of digital comms, certainly forums.

Registered Users have 5 mins.
Forum Supporters have 15 mins (due to an oversight a while back, it allowed editing for life which was, as expected, abused).
