Jamo Martinez

Player Valuation: £70m
I've tried editing a couple of posts this morning and after writing I click on save and nothing happens.

ps. What does 'go advanced' do? Is it like a hyperspace thing? Should I just throw my natural caution to the wind and press it next time I edit a post? Will I end up getting banned or something? Why am I asking so many questions?

What you need to do is go into the garage, saw up some timber, sweep all the sawdust into a wee pile, pick it up and throw it at your computer.

Go advanced let's you preview your post. Gives you more options to alter it. It also carries over what you've written to the advanced page.

Dunno about your other problem though mate, works for me.

If you have trouble editing posts you can try the old technique of brass rubbing. Replacing the brass with a more flexible object, lets say your trousers.

Unlike a traditional brass rubbing, we won't need the paper - or outer layer - this time. Likewise, there is no need for charcoal or a crayon, so just use your hand. Pull the outer layer (or trousers in this case) quickly downwards then quickly move your charcoal (hand in this case) up and down to gauge the approximate shape and size of the rubbing - you may feel it change shape during the course of the rubbing, this is perfectly normal. Carry on like this for a few minutes, adjusting the speed and vigour of your movements so you are comfortable.

You will know the brass rubbing is almost complete when the brass feels moist to the touch - how much moisture is released depends entirely on how long it has been since the last rubbing (and occasionally on the duration of this current rubbing and it's voracity).

That's it - Your brass rubbing is complete! You may experience great euphoria, quickly followed by a feelings of despair and emptiness. Don't worry, this is perfectly normal, you simply have to wait a few minutes before you can start a new brass rubbing!

Just the last few days. Seems to work ok now though.

However, I do like to be prepared, so I'm going to practice Heat's suggestion so I can sort myself out if it happens again

If you need a hand, just ask!
