If its any consolation we in the US secretly think England is boss. We all want our players to go to the prem and we all root for your clubs. We get disapointed when players go to other completely inferior leagues. Myself included, I remember being disapointed with Gooch spurned Wolves and Brum so that he could sign with AC Milan.

Speak for yourself. I think England are [Poor language removed] and I would rather Landon stay at LA Galaxy than go to the EPL. If he did have to go I would want it to be Everton though. (y)

well I suspect that the manager is far more successful than any u.s. manager in history, but he isn't English though.

also no matter what they do (or don't), it is far more of a success than the u.s. at about 15 other w.c. finals, the fact still remains that England have lost less games in the w.c. finals than any of the other winners, but then of course the u.s. can't be bracketed in that group, and also when scotland have managed to qualify they have maintained a record of always being home before their postcards.
