I think the Qatar thing is a bit silly but obviously they've done something impress professional people from different countries all over the world so they've done something right. I doubt the US bid wouldn't have been too shabby so they've pulled off a fantastic job.

Being away from the England bid I can see just how stupid that Qatar decision is.

America would have held the best World Cup ever. FIFA are on mushrooms.

I like you too mate, but this really isn't about England baiting. It's about facts, which I've stated above.

1 - England's bid wasn't good enough.

2 - The decision was based upon different countries votes, so there is no apparent corruption like getting insinuated now.

3 - England don't handle rejection or defeat well.

4 - LFC won't benefit.

What happened to the great English sense of fair play and grace in defeat? Jolly well good luck next time.

I'm sure the Villa/Brum, and Panorama incidents didn't help. But when FIFA go for a country where homosexuality is punished by 5-10 years in jail, I don't think morals or concern for safety really come into it.

That's like saying don't post about a certain player (whoever it is) if you don't like them. It doesn't really work on a forum. People are going to disagree with you, some people might not like England/English football, that's life, and everyone's entitled to there opinion, whether it's similar to yours or not.
