Barcelona striker Samuel Eto'o is weighing up a shock move to Uzbekestan club Kuruvchi.
Eto'o has visited Uzbekestan for talks and will now consider the offer from the leaders of the Uzbek championship.
"I have several good offers from various clubs at present. I'm planning to return to Barcelona and starting from Saturday I will consider all my options, including the one from Kuruvchi," said the Cameroon international.
Kuruvchi are reported to have put together a highly lucrative package in a bid to entice Eto'o, who has been told he can leave Barcelona after four years at Camp Nou.
"We have made a very good offer and are quite serious of getting Samuel to play here," coach Mirjalol Kasymov told Kuruvchi's official website.
Eto'o, 27, has also been linked with a number of top clubs in Europe.

Surly not. Would he not be worth a bid!!

Yak an Eto'o.......sounds great.

Not sure I want a mercenary here. On form he's one of the top strikers in the world game and if he's contemplating a move for money then he's not someone I'd want at our club.

If i was Eto'o i would move, get some experience of playing round the world being the best player in the country, and getting payed millions. He could always move back after a season or two. Also its better than Barcelona, with their mini crisis, nad the reform of the team around messi

You would move to Uzbekistan?

I fail to see what good moving to the Uzbeki top division would do for Eto'o he's hardly in need for one last big pay off at 27. If I was Eto'o I'd want to win more medals and join a club in a prestigious competition not the Uzbeki premiership.

He might as well sign for a pub team an play on sevvie park. It must be a publicity stunt to get more clubs intrested. This will just never happpen.

I saw the pic's on SSN this morning an it was like a hero's welcom their!! just pure madness.

Bruce the truth is all players that go abroad have cash as the first agenda every player that says I want to experiance the premier mean I want to go where the cash is.why else drag your family to a foreign country.
