Top two from each group, plus Germany as hosts, plus three from the Nations League playoffs.

Top 2 from each group qualify .. and then some other nonsense about where you have finished in the Nation league may give you a play off spot if you dont qualify in the top 2.

Football governing bodies making money and thus more thing overly complicated (as always)

Weird how some groups don't seem to have any what you would call top ranking sides, yet the Dutch and the French are in one group, and England are in one with Italy.

Nice group of death England got there. As already noted, Group B is also rough. Nastiest pot 4 sides in the draw, and they land in stacked groups. North Macedonia landing in a group with Italy feels...not entirely coincidental.

Point being, those sides can beat you or get a result. Pot 2 had some soft teams, and Pots 3 and 4 had a sizable amount of chaff in them. There won't be a lot of margin for error in England's group. You should get there, but it's the sort of group where one of the top two teams often disappoints.
