According to SSN, in the Europe League will have 2 extra officals that are situated behind the goal.

Its another person to make a mistake. Can they help the ref in decisions in the box or just relating to the ball crossing the line?

i still dont know why they cant have a sensor in the ball that if the ball crosses over the line it lights something up or buzzes in the refs ear.

this would be easier to do than put 2 extra refs on the pitch because it might add to the confusion if the linesman sees its a goal and the ref behind says it wasnt.
