europe lets hope it goes better this time

i just hope that after this very good season that we dont go and throw all the hard work down the pan by [Poor language removed] up at the early stages in the uafa. after last time we got into europe we have defo got one huge point to prove. i hope that we can go very far in the compition and show europe that the toffees are back as a footballing force again and are going to get stronger and bigger as a club. but to do this we need that good run in the uafa and a top 6 finish at least next season. but if we achieve this then we could be pushing for champs league on a reguler basis in a few years we have just got to keep moving foward every season and under moyes i believe this is possible.COYB

I think we are ready for Europe this time, especially with one or two QUALITY additions.

I cant believe the season is over, we have now got all summer to put in practice ideas to make this the best everton forum on the net. Ive got one or tow ideas and Im sure a few of the other lad and lasses do too!

Suits idea of the fantasy football is tops maybe we could do our own in house one as well?!

As for Europe, look what it did for Blackburn... its hard (really hard) to balance both a UEFA run and a PL season.

I'm cautiously optimistic, we need extra bodies but they have to be quality.

Nugent would be a vital signing, a strike force of aj, vaughan, nugent & anichebe will cover us all season long.

Midfield is weak, we need manny plus I'd say 2 others, over to you moyesy.

Defence, sign stubbsy up, legend. valente finished? if so, we may need to sign young or that CB from city whats his name...

No problems keeper wise, get shut of jonah, howard, turner and ruddy is a nice pool.

Overall I'd say Midfield is the major one, then defence then if we can get Nugent bloody hell, we would actually have a SQUAD!

We're a much stronger side than last time out imo. That team got into Europe largely on the back of a great defence, bloody hard work and the ability to win 1-0. This side has scored a lot more freely. At times we still lack composure and quality on the ball but we carry far more threat going forward so I see no reason why we can't do ok in Europe. I don't expect us to win it, but a decent run should be possible.

Moyes had mention he'll buy what is needed to do well for our european campaign, so I'm expecting to see more continental player coming in and hopefully retain and play better football than what we already did this season.

It is simple, if we are to take the full next step up we need more acceptable class players. Like last season I'm sure DM will have set his deals early, it is cheaper and even less complicated that way.
