Oops, as I fell asleep early last night, I didn't do my preview so here is a quickie!!:

Since Raikkonens win at Silverstone there hasn't been a dull moment in F1. From the Ferrari/McLaren spy row to Bernie Ecclestone being linked to a takeover at Arsenal Football Club, the show now arrives at the Nurburgring in Germany.

Following a scary high-speed tire failure and subsequent crash during Q3, F1 rookie sensation Lewis Hamilton will be lining up on the grid, having taken his undamaged race engine and had it placed in the spare McLaren chassis and will line up 10th on the grid. F1 veteran Martin Brundle is backing Hamilton to shake off the effects of the crash and come out fighting during the race.

The weather report should make for an interesting race as rain is expected, so tire strategies will play an even bigger part today.

The Grand Prix track does not take place on the infamous Nordschleife, but on a custom built section.

As the race is about to start, no vBookie and that ends my preview, Raikkonen is starting form pole!

Come on guys, make this a good one (The Euro GP is usually boring!!!)

It started raining as they rolled off!

Now it is pissing it down. This is great~!!!!!!

Wow! Hamilton, Button and Sutil AND Roseberg and Speed and Sato all just went off at the same corner one after the other after the other!!!

DC 5th place!!!!!!!!!! The German commentators are raving about how clever Hamilton was to keep his engine running and use the rule that a car that is in a dangerous position must be brought out by the easiest way and if that is via taking part in the race again then that is allowed....

All we need is another flash flood and I can see hamilton finishing on the podium once again. This is going to be a fun race.

What a great race! Alonso wins! Hamilton finishes 9th. If he hadn't have gone off he might have picked up a few more points!

Webber almost loosing third to Wurz on the second-last corner!

I think Raikkonen ran out of gas as when asked he dodged the question. If it was the gearbox, he would have blamed it.
