Everton 1-1 Blackburn

A James McFadden goal earned Everton a point in a 1-1 draw against Blackburn at Goodison Park this evening.

A more determined looking Blackburn took the lead on 15 minutes through Roque Santa Cruz who was on hand to turn in Morten Gamst-Pedersons effort which rebounded of the crossbar.

James McFadden equalised for Everton on 77 minutes to earn a point for Everton.

I thought Trevor Steven dominated the right wing, and Reidy was immense in the middle, totally controlled the play.

Unfortunately Hibbert is not having a great season so far as he really should have stayed goal side of Santa Cruz. I suspect Neville will be taking his place when fernandez comes in.

Stubbs is a rock, he can't play too many games in succession, but he's still a rock. He's 5 times the player Weir was at the same age.
