This one I've been looking forward to largely due to the Lescott thing and them bad meffs attitude since they found Wonka's golden ticket; they'd defo trade the eternal gobstopper secret you'd think though.
It's a game a lot of blues will be up for since we seen them as a rival for the race to 4th - 8th until we started the season badly [Poor language removed]. They've got lots of that money stuff that were after but in doing so has made them much unloved by their peers, no doubt some down to jealousy. The new Newcastle, if you will.
We love our socialist values at Partizan Walton, ie: were badly skint but we got each other, and so the visit of them dirty capitalist pigdogs will have the masses in a heightened state of fury the early evening kick off will no doubt help Goodison become a little nastier for this game, which is a always a plus if you're attending.
They've signed loads of outside the top four galacticos so can put out a very decent team indeed. They've now got a scarf wearing Italian manager which seems to fit their bill so they're a little more optimistic than when they had that whopper Hughes. Barry is no mug in the middle, Bellamy has looked their best player by far this season and we have to mention it but Lescott will be missing due to injury. Ho-hum, Joleon. A lot has been made of their central defence where spunking 40 million doesn't seem to have done the trick, there could be a new man in there by the time we play them but regardless of how bad their defence is, Given is a fantastic goalkeeper and we'll have to step up our efforts in the final third of the pitch if we are to win this.
Who the blues put out will be another thing, probably expect some playing time for Donovan coming into this crucial period and with the striker shortage it's likely to remain 4-5-1 with Saha/Vaughan probably the furthest up the pitch, Cahill/Donovan behind him and Hibbert/Coleman at RB - who cares - you'll do that little thing with your team line ups no doubt.
As mentioned, I'd love to see a really narky Goodison get behind the team from the off for this as it's one we'd all dearly love to win if not only to stick one in the eye of the embarrassing pundits/article writers for boring us a great deal about them since the summer.
