You say negativity, I say realism.

He drops Keane replaces him with Branthwaite and we win; it's not rocket science.

The pressure on this young man is enormous as he is basically going to save Dyche's job.

Dyche has not suddenly become a master tactician.
The only thing I'd say is that Gana probably should've been on the pitch a good 5 minutes earlier. Palace were already all over us in midfield by the time he eventually came on.

Ok. Here's where I'm at.

Every match, I look at the fixtures and wonder if I should watch another match and avoid the stress.

I considered watching the Chelsea v Brighton match knowing they both play some nice stuff while offering up chances.

Checked the scores at half time and could have kicked myself.

So I thought, 'sod this' and tuned into the second half at Stamford Bridge.

Cue a goalless second half at Chelsea and an Everton comeback win.

Am I a crap fan? Absolutely.

But taking myself and Michael Keane out of the equation may be key to us hosting top flight footbalL at BMD.

The frustrating thing about it is Palace got on top without having to do anything. In the most absurdly predictable thing ever, we surrendered all momentum after the 2nd goal and invited them onto us.

We got away with it yesterday, Palace were poor 2nd half, just as we were rubbish in the 1st. But it was a problem of our own making, as usual.

Was out with missus and kids all day so didn't see the game, followed it on here, I was going to [Poor language removed] it off at half time and turn the internet off but just checked in at around 4:20 pm then was checking the score every ten minutes sh***ing myself. The first half sounded really bad on here, how was it compared to the first half versus Leicester last week? where I thought we played well. Need a plan against Gordon next game ...

Didn’t manage to watch all of it. But match of day highlights signified to me that we were very poor, should have been buried by half time, and doucoure is really poor now.

He gave away the free kick with such a blatant push and tried to pretend he didn’t, that led to the corner where he lost the header. Then that 1 on 1 was abysmal.

3 points behind utd and 5 points behind the 9th and 10th places shows just how poor outside of the top 5 the leagues pooh
With a fit Branthwaite we probably get the 3 points, and go level with Utd. We are not great but neither are many of the other teams from mid table down. Just needed to improve defensively and develop the mentality to see games out.

Why not? Injuries were the main driver of our poor start.. a fit Branthwaite from the start of the season and we'd be near 12 points.. I don't think we are as bad as our points suggests..
We’ve been pretty close to being relegated in each of the last three seasons and haven’t really spent a load on improving the squad. I’m hopeful for a good performance against Newcastle but I wouldn’t be shocked by a loss. They’re a very good team.
