Back to Goodison after four points on the road in a tie that always seems to be played as the season is drawing to a close.
Initially after the Wolves game there will be some rightful disappointment, we had well enough chances to win it, but all things considered Villa are now firmly in our grasp after an absolute spanking from Chelsea. Which is great, as O'Neill is one bad hank.
The West Ham game kicks off a really important two weeks where we play three games and at the end of it we will have a much clearer picture of where we may finish.
A really [Poor language removed] West Ham come to town in a fixture where we usually nearly always get the three points. Whether that will be with Zola or post Zola is another question, their defeat at Stoke coupled with Hull's win leaves them in an awful place in the league and at real danger of going down. Those massively annoying smug new owners certainly haven't help things with their open letter to the fans, what a really tittish thing to do in the circumstances and on the subject of owners it wasn't too long ago that a lot of us looked with some envy as the billionaire Icelanders came in and started throwing money about. Then we laughed at they signed Keiron Dyer.
Not just for me but for a lot of my mates, West Ham is a great little club. Some excellent footballers and near enough all their fans I've met have been sound enough, a very low bell populous indeed. They do have some decent players but they have just lost six consecutive games. Simply put, it's yet another must win.
An inform Arteta returning would be the most likely change for this match and other than that it should be as you where from Wolves. It's been a few games since we seen either Saha or Yakubu dominate from the front and grab a couple of goals, this would be good opportunity to rectify that. I'm weirdly picturing Kevin Campbell's hat trick posting that.
Six to go.
