The news will be good news to the majority of Everton fans on GrandOldTeam.com, after 51.61% of fans voted 'No' to signing Joey Barton in our poll last month.

Latest rumours suggest David Moyes' attention has now turned to West Broms Jason Koumas.

He won't come to GP because of the wages, what an absolute tit, just about sums him up a scum bag of he first order, and BARTONS [Poor language removed] AS WELL:lol: :lol:
 
I had my doubts but the guy says he just wants to win things. but if thats the case why have willie mckay as your agent!
 
It's funny how so many players who 'just want to win things' end up on £50k a week at the black hole of footballing talent that is St James' Park. It's understandable, but they ought to be a bit more honest about it; I remember Scott Parker giving his reasons for favouring Newcastle over Everton as 'being impressed by the manager', or some such tosh. Impressed by Graeme - "show us yer medals, then oot to the car park for a fight" - Souness, over David Moyes (who'd just won his second Manager of the Year Award). Yeah, right, Scott ...
