Hi, sorry if this has already been mentioned - I can't find a thread about it.

My nephew is a six-year-old everton fan who has been told to wear red to school on Red Nose Day. He always refuses to wear red and instead will go into school dressed as Fellaini, in an Everton shirt and an afro wig.

He originally thought he might raise about £30 for Comic Relief with this idea, but interest in the story has snowballed. The Liverpool Echo want to run the story, and this morning Tim Lovejoy mentioned it on BBC2. He has now raised over £1300!

I've set up a page on Digg about his stunt but I can never get anyone to click 'Digg' when I submit stories on there. It would be superb publicity if he could make his way onto a decent page on there, so I'd be grateful if anyone on here who's a Digg user could simply click the Digg button.

Unfortunately it won't let me post the links to his myrednoseday fundraising page or to the story at Digg (because I'm a new forum member) so I'll have to ask you to look around. (If someone else could post the links it would be ace!)

Many thanks! (y)

That's the one - thanks very much!

I think the Digg story's been buried anyway but he's getting press attention now from the Liverpool Echo and the Evening Sentinel, which is just amazing. Thanks again. :D

He's up to 2 grand now, fantastic.

Lovejoy donated 50 quid, good on him.

Also...it appears that someone donated 51 pounds and signed off....GOAT.

You don't think..
