Not at all. Watching him for Wales he works as hard as any and brings real quality to their play. IMO, this is what we need - someone who can transition us without panicking or losing possession. As I said, this is not an ideal solution as we only have 48hrs, but one with little down side on loan. Who would you realistically go for?
He won't cope with playing regularly in the PL, international football is different with lower intensity + less games. I don't know who we should target but we don't have to sign 31 year olds with poor injury records just because we can. How many years on a contract would you give him and on what wages?

Imagine all the moaning when he's injured for half a season like James was or Mina is + the added fume when he still wants to play for Wales

…..be interesting if Lampard is pushing for this, he was a big unit of a footballer but it never stopped him hitting the box.

Possibly but since we've been linked with Van Der Beek for ages it might just tie in with the below tweet:

I thought Richarlison would deffo be off and DCL would stay but with Auba leaving Arsenal end of the season supposedly I have a feeling the reverse could happen.

I get the feeling Richarlison loves being at the club and tbh his performances in recent years haven't likely convinced the top clubs to offer the sort of money we would want for him.

I can see Arsenal or Spurs going big for DCL in the summer - whats interesting is if Lampard wants a more fluid front 3 or a target man in the centre.

If its more a fluid pacey front 3 you could sell DCL, move Richarlison central and sign a quality wide player on the right like a Hudson Odoi and go:

Odoi Richarlison Gray

Then have the FFP leg room to bring in a commanding CB & 1-2 good CM's.

I think Richarlison goes to PSG mate.

Doesn’t Palace already have a player for this position In Gallagher?
Yeah there’s a chance he could end up on the bench there too. But Vieira wants to play possession football which should suit Donny. I’d imagine him and Gallagher in front of a holder (Kouyate).

Were we not very much in for Donny in the summer then United rejected the loan move?

I'm not sure that's what our midfield needs right now especially with Doucoure out. Unless we get in multiple?
