I just wonder if both will prove too expensive mate.

Roma paid big money for Tammy didnt they? Who never quite did it here.

Can see it myself with Abraham, your looking at about 45 mill i think and i think thats the market we're shopping for a passable replacement for DCL. 35 mill odd i think the paid for him. At some point the lad will want back to the PL, Mourhino will burn his bridges and his face might not fit at Roma and hes a sell-able asset with a PL market. He did all right here under Lampard 15 goals when given a run in an injury marked season.

Tomori seems to be very highly rated at Milan, he might prove the one difficult to shift, with a premium. Id say that bit more unlikely. But he and Lampard have that gra for each other. Not many English players spend longer then a couple of seasons outside of England.

Yes Please...far superior to anything we have.
A few years ago now, but I saw RLC play against Germany at Wembley on what I think was his England debut. Was head and shoulders the best player on the pitch that night, just looked amazing. Sad that it just doesn't seem to have happened for him but he really does need to leave Chelsea.

v d Beek was at Ajax similar to Klaassen: good as he was given the license to get in the box and the creativity was coming from the wingers. And he will put in a shift. So if Lampard plays 4-3-3 he could do well with Allan and Doucs with him.. Playing him further back in a 4-2-3-1 he is nothing spectacular.
Proabably we are going for vd Beek as he will offer more defensively than Deli Alli.

I’d give him a contract until the end of the season and share the wages with Juventus.. because to my mind that’s realistic with little risk.
You stated you have no idea who we’d go for?‍♂️.. we’ve literally got 2 days left.. see the issue with trying to find a perfect fit at this stage?
Pragmatism is needed and perfect cannot be the enemy of good
If Juve are willing to pay him a significant % while on loan it's less of a risk of course. We shouldn't make bad decisions out of desperation that will come back to bite us later though, it's the kind of thinking that lands us with the Rondons and Tosuns of the world.

It's not really my job to know exactly what player to sign, but a player like Ramsey definitely seems like the wrong profile. Unfortunately the club got rid of the people who are more likely to know sensible signings to target for a club in our position

I spoke to my Man Utd supporting friend about VDB and I swear to god he could have been described Klassen.. which worries me. But on balance our current options worry me more so?‍♂️
