I wouldn’t mind VDB to be honest, he was wanted by Madrid, was unbelievable for Ajax and clearly lost his way at United. He’s guaranteed to start every game here and the run could bring his best. Touch wood, but his injury record is clear unlike RLC for example

Can see it myself with Abraham, your looking at about 45 mill i think and i think thats the market we're shopping for a passable replacement for DCL. 35 mill odd i think the paid for him. At some point the lad will want back to the PL, Mourhino will burn his bridges and his face might not fit at Roma and hes a sell-able asset with a PL market. He did all right here under Lampard 15 goals when given a run in an injury marked season.

Tomori seems to be very highly rated at Milan, he might prove the one difficult to shift, with a premium. Id say that bit more unlikely. But he and Lampard have that gra for each other. Not many English players spend longer then a couple of seasons outside of England.

I think 45m quid, on a lad who hasnt done it in this league really, would be a huge risk IMO.

I'd rather have a gamble on the lad at Southampton myself.

So basically the club want van de Beek not the managers. Cracking stuff again.

I don’t think so, from what Fabrizio Romano said, Lampard has asked the club to try and get van de beek. Other sources have said lampard had “demanded” van de beek. Either way I’m sure transfer targets will have been discussed and we could certainly use options in the middle of the park

Well yeh probs but still, I don't like the club with no footballing man in place, telling the new incoming manager who we are trying to sign and if he's okay with it.

Such a mess of a club I hate it.

No director of football, head of recruitment or head of scouting either remember.
