I'm currently bidding on an ebay item and there's 2 hrs 2 mins left, currently the highest bidder at £11.75 with a max of £20, I feel very much like Marcel Brands.

I hope it’s a new fleshlight and not a used one. Least make sure it’s washed first hey?

Whose good in the Championship that we could potentially be interested in? After all it a tougher league than some in Europe, so must be some interesting players in there; don't always have to look overseas.

There were rumours of us looking at Ivan Toney I think.

I agree there are some good young players to be picked up in that league.

Lots of talk of new DM but while there is a desperate need for Carlo to bring more of his own players into midfield there isn’t space in the squad right now. This is where Brands needs to earn his money. Priority has to be off loading Delph and replacing him with a mobile, aggressive centre mid. I would say Gomes as well but I don’t think it’s realistic now given Allan’s injury. Hopefully we also pay off Bolaise and Besic and make them free agents, they are obviously too toxic to find clubs now so let’s free up wage space

Delph's not going to be moved on anywhere mate, not with a cooked hammy.

I watched him in one of the Brentford games the other day, he is very like DCL although he is a bit stronger id say.

Marcel Brands opens the biddings, sticks it in his watched items and then looks at EBay a week after it’s sold. He then goes back and looks at similar items and buys one, only realising it’s a copy off AliExpress.

Here's my wish list for the two windows in 2021 -
RB - one of Odriozola, Celik, Dumfries
LB - would like to see Nkounkou given more time, but Carlo says no so unsure who we should get, but we need cover for Digne
CDM - Khedira short term
RW - one of Bailey, Berardi, Brooks
LW- IF IF Richarlison goes somebody like Oyarzabal, Szoboszlai or Depay
CF - one of Belotti, Malen, Daka (or persuade Kean his future is with us)

Sell or move on the scrap - Lossl, Bolasie, Walcott, Kenny, Tosun, Bernard, Delph, Besic, Baningime

Szoboszlai has joined RB Liepzig.

Depay will run out his contract and go to one of the big European clubs. No reason for him to move in January. Think CL footy would need to be on offer to persuade him.

Khedira would struggle with the pace of the Premier League IMO.

Bailey is a greta prospect, Not sure Leverkusen will sell mid-season with Champion's League qualification up for grabs. Not sure how Bayer fund them but they may be protected from Covid financial hit a bit more - also got 70M for Harvetz in the summer.

Really like Brooks and Oyarzabal as options. Brooks seems more attainable but the rawer of the 2 players.

Like the 3 forward options you've suggested. All good, relatively young players. Belotti is the most established of the 3 and has a decent scoring record in Serie A and internationally. Doesn't feel like him or DCL would be a partnership.Therefore how do you convince a player to join as back up? Plus is spending 40-50M on a back up striker likely?

Daka and Malen would be good options and look reasonably attainable depending on who else is interested in them.

I think it's a good list of players above that would fill some of the gaps in the squad. However, in my opinion I think most of them would be unattainable in January for a variety of reasons. The right backs and some of the forwards could be ones that are most likely.

What new Brexit rules? The last report I seen was that you’d need a job and a salary of about 25k per year, so I think he’d meet that criteria. The rules for non-EU immigrants aren’t changing much, if at all.

That's for the average job in the street...rules for footballers from the eu will not be that different anymore than when trying to sign players from the rest of the world...and we know over the years that it hasn't been easy at times to get those work permits.
