This is what boils my head out with different fan channels giving it the big "give DCL a deadline,sign or go by x/y/z date".

Ok so what happens when the date goes past, nobody bids and he doesn't sign?

It would make absolutely zero sense from a negotiation standpoint to do this. If you negotiate for a living, you don't put yourself in a position whereby you can be made to look stupid, by making demands that you have no control over.

Some players will leave not expecting actual purchases unless Dom leaves but i still think we will get two loans

Or he has a great season and wants to prove his worth to buyers. Could go either way.

How exactly?

The issues we had at the end of last season still remain, we have done nothing to sort them out whatsoever. The signings made don't fix our RB issue (we are still lacking there) and we still have a serious lack of goals in the team (Ndiaye and Lindstrom might move the ball a bit quicker but neither is what you would class as a goalscorer)
