It does sound a hell of a lot of money but tbf he has been a pro for 7 seasons and DCL for 8 seasons and Tammy has scored nearly twice the amount of goals Dom has. Still, £100m is world class money and I wouldn't say he was that.
Absolutely correct.
We have to have a squad of 20 outfield players at least. Not everybody in the squad can be a certain starter every week. We need players that can accept being used at different times in different games... but not every game.
The more players we let leave, the more we have to replace with the limited resources we have.
We would be better off keeping players who can do a job in the squad and bring fewer but more influential players.
I would not be surprised if we sign Tarkowski... tough as nails, free transfer, probably not exorbitant wages.
Interesting about Pickford. The club will certainly try to tie him into a new contract but even if he doesn't sign I think he will be kept for at least another season, we simply can't afford to rip the entire team apart.
Regarding centre halves , I think Mina will probably leave this summer(if a money paying buyer can be found). I think Holgate may be more saleable than Keane and if he leaves we would then have Keane, Brathwaite and Godfrey. We would have to sign two centre halves and if Keane left as well then we would have to sign three.
I have said it elsewhere, I think we may well go after Tarkowski.
The magical Everton money tree.I think we could do with that £70mil in fees as well as another £100mil from somewhere.
"The Championship is respected all over the world, we can attract top talent still, something, something Neves"Can you still do football manager style guesswork in the championship?
How about France as well? Just to throw this out there, if we did make some big sales this is whats available in France + plenty more ive not mentioned as well;
Hugo Ekitike: Close to joining Newcastle for £33mil + bonuses. Only turning 20 in June, 6'2 and scores a goal every 2 games at centre forward.
Amine Gouiri: Can play up front or cutting inside from the left. Technically another level from what weve seen in years (bar James) and seen as the next Benzema.
Aurelien Tchouameni: Now a 22 year old French international at Monaco who is built like a monster. Someone who would be comfortable if we play 2 in midfield.
Boubakar Kamara: Another 22 year old who has moved into defensive midfield having previously played at centre back. Quick and a solid all round player.
Benoit Badiashile: Left footed centre back who captains France u21s. Just turned 21 a couple of days ago, athletic, mobile and a beast.
Us, Milan and Arsenal are linked to Gouiri.
Absolute quality.

This is what the squad looks like if we sell everybody the majority have said we should sell.
Looks great, right? Until you realise that you then need to buy 18 new players with the 200million or so you just got.
My best guess is that it will push them to new levels of futile speculation and humble brag scouting as they take it on themselves to identify the players Everton need to get promoted. They will get there before the big boys like Newcastle, Southampton and Brentford can offer these burgeoning raw talents the top level football. Can you still do football manager style guesswork in the championship?

Were not linked with this player, but could be a good signing for us.
Gustavo Hamer from Coventry, I was at Coventry v Blackburn today and he was really impressive, lots of energy and brave plays forward on the ball.
Of course we don't know if he could step up to premier League level but he may be worth a punt for a premier League side
