Saw this on twitter that Barca accepted it, but he turned it down! Anything more Everton than that! I thought that rarely happened now as clubs spoke to players agents before making bids.
Crazy though that we could have a bit of 23m euros accepted for Depay, yet Watford want £25m for Dennis!

To be fair to the club, I think it was more complex than that: there was talk of not wanting to antagonise Burnley; we're now on to a new accounting year.

I think we're being far more prudent in terms of who we sign and when. Part of me feel that we'll leave signings later in the window to save on wages!
