Because it would be the wrong pool for us to be shopping in.

But that's pretty much what Liverpool did with Jota, who looks a very good deal.
I think the Jota signing is more interesting for how different it is from Richarlison if I'm honest. Jota had 7 goals 1 assist his last year at Wolves.
 

They have been a more attractive club to join for most of my life. Despite rarely winning anything in modernish times they have always been able to attract glamour names going back to 90s.

I mean Pienaar wanted to ditch us to go to them so it was the same a decade or so ago
It's just London , I'd they were based up north , nothing in it

Yes true. Richarlison had a better record.

But the point stands.

It's not the area we would be shopping in though, and that is what I would think. Its also why it makes sense to sell.
