I agree. The financial part is something that is always there, and obviously there are limits on spending. On the managing of finances and transfers he said “But there is doing that, and still being ambitious”. I take that as a positive and still see significant incomings.

You obviously love Walsh, but let me tell you, the man was a chancer. He was my old PE teacher and knew very little about football in general. He was a nice enough bloke but was full of it. I'm the same with Jenny Agguter albeit 10/15 years earlier. The missus still calls her slutguts.

I am more than happy to give Benitez a chance to stamp his authority on the club - I don't care about his baggage - but he is utterly delusional if he thinks he can improve on last season with the current rabble, sans James, at his disposal. If ever a manager needed "Hollywood" signings, it is Rafael Benitez. Especially as he will get rid of our one loved Hollywood superstar.

Really surprised by how people rate Benitez in general. Apart from his ties and what he said.
Glad in a way that expectations are really low.
