His teams has always punched above their weight. Europe is very much possible unless things go horribly wrong.

The squad is really big and has some decent names, but they might have under performed, moreover changing managers every year and playing for someone else, doesn't get the best out of the team.

Benitez normally does well to sort all these out... and don't be surprised by who he is letting go and who he wants. He knows what he is doing, though those who sold could do better at other clubs, but he is looking for something else from his players.

If you're surprised most Evertonians don't rate Benitez then I'm wondering if you don't really know Evertonians.

Which of his recent clubs have punched above their weight? Talking last 10 years here.

There is nothing to rate for a European spot when the team is very much good enough for it. Managerial selections must have been weird.

Not surprised, as no one apart from the clubs he has managed rate him.

People in general are happy with glory hunters and big names even if they flop.

I don't even know what you're trying to say now.

I don’t care for Benitez, but to say most Evertonians don’t rate him is a bit far fetched. There are many who do.

Many but I'd still wager most don't like/want/rate him as an Everton boss. It's the most deflated I've ever seen GOT after a managerial appointment.

Its ok..
But a European spot is bare minimum, else Benitez would not have taken this job. Benitez left Newcastle because owner was only interested in keeping the club in PL and not interested in Europe. European spot for next season & CL spot the season after is the target.

A trophy if possible.....

Yes he would have taken the job because it’s round the corner from his house.

Who do you support mert??

I can be convinced. please answer the question.
Newcastle United, back from championship finishing first season back in 10th spot with spending much less than what many around Newcastle have spent.

When you compare to Everton being in PL and with 4 years of investment & managerial merry-go round to finish the same 10th spot last season.
