I would get rid of Holgate first. If not Keane.

Do think its probably the most logical, wage, marketability for a transfer and 2 years left on contract.

Is he worth another contract and big wages? I might be in the minority who isn't against him being moved on. Decent player, makes me nervous as hell tho.

Yeah lets not make any mistake about it Koulibally is a brilliant defender and is a much better player then Keane or Mina, I think I am one of the minority who doesn't actually think Mina is as good as he is made out, he makes me massively nervous in defence, moreso then Keane and he is no great shakes.

If we got Koulibally in, stuck Godfrey next to him I would be quietly confident in the defence... (if we got a quality right back)

Mina is injury prone, and more likely to whinge if he doesn't play, whereas Keane is more steady, could come in if Benitez wants to play 3 centre halves or if 1 of the usual centre halves is injured or suspended, and do a job.

The only cb we could get any real big money is Mina though. Can’t see any bids coming in for Keane or Holgate.

Potentially, I do think though having someone who is much more solid next to him who either doesn't turn like a tug boat or is an accident waiting to happen, would be a huge improvement for him.

I do also think we will line up with 3 CB's a lot this year, which means that if it was Godfrey, Koulibally and another, I would rather see that then with Mina and Keane in there.

What about Mina suggests he would kick off if he wasn't playing? He's still our best CB but we are in a awkward situation with his contract running out in 2 years

Next to Koulibally he'd be fine. It's like Van Dijk with the rs. If you put Gomes on with another centre half he wouldn't have looked that great, but next to Van Dijk he was fine.

….he’s not a rookie, he’s a full international who played top flight for Norwich. He’s got the physicality none of the others have and I think it’ll be a matter of who plays alongside him.

His speed reminds me of Kyle Walker, in that he’d fancy himself in a foot race against any opposition forward. What will hold him back at very top level is his composure in possession, he’s not a classy footballer but I’d hate to play against him.
